How Often Should You Wash Your Car?

Why Regular Washing Matters More Than You Think
Your car’s paint isn’t just there for looks — it protects the metal underneath from rust, oxidation, and UV degradation. Every layer of grime, bird droppings, pollen, tree sap, or road salt that sits on your paint is actively working against that protection.
Bird droppings, pollen and tree sap are reasons to check your paint between washes. Follow your vehicle manufacturer’s cleaning instructions when removing them.
💡 Rule of Thumb: If you can write your name in the grime on your car, you’re already overdue. Don’t wait until it’s visibly dirty — wash on a schedule, not just on sight.

For most drivers, a basic interior vacuum every 2–4 weeks keeps things fresh, with a full interior detail recommended every 3–6 months.
Signs it’s time for an interior detail:
- Musty or stale smell that doesn’t go away with fresheners
- Visible staining on seats, carpet, or door panels
- Pet hair that won’t vacuum out
